Position: Income Maintenance Supervisor II – Adult Medicaid
Location: Bolivia

Income Maintenance Supervisor II (IMS II)

Provides supervision, training, and support to the Adult Medicaid Review, Long Term Care and Special Assistance team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Directing department employees; instructing, reviewing work, assigning work, maintaining standards, acting on employee concerns, selecting new employees and appraising employee performances
  • Reviewing program objectives and service delivery needs with staff as well as formulating specific goals and objectives for this program
  • Working directly with internal and external customers and community partner
  • Preparing reports/documentation and ensuring the unit is meeting all timeliness and quality measures
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Adult Medicaid policies
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • General computer knowledge and ability to learn and navigate various programs and databases
  • Knowledge of NC Fast
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and reassess as priorities change in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to de‑escalate upset customers / remain calm in stressful situations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Must be available to work during emergency situations.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, two years of experience as a caseworker or investigator in an economic service program and preferably one year of supervisory experience; or
  • Associate degree, four years of experience as a caseworker or investigator in an economic service program and preferably one year of supervisory experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Direct experience with NC FAST is highly desirable, as well as the Intro to Human Services and Income Maintenance Caseworker – NC FAST certificates. Must be physically able to operate a variety of office equipment and to exert a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
