Position:Director of Quality Why Join Us:

Key Responsibilities- Lead risk management efforts including claims investigation, data analysis, and staff education to reduce liabilities and enhance patient safety.
- Serve as the facility’s Patient Safety Officer, spearheading the implementation of JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals.
- Oversee internal/external audits and compliance with regulatory standards including OSHA and JCAHO.
- Conduct and chair ethics committee meetings and manage concerns/complaints with professionalism and discretion.
- Develop and monitor department goals, staffing, budgeting, and continuous improvement programs.
Must‑Haves
- Active North Carolina or Multistate Nursing License or in good standing able to attain one
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare risk management or claims investigation/management
- Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure in high‑stress situations and foster collaborative relationships
- Prior management or supervisory experience
- Familiarity with OSHA and JCAHO standards
- Background in medical or pharmaceutical sales
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
