Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Dispensing Audiologist, based in our Supply, NC location. The Dispensing Audiologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations, diagnosing hearing and balance issues, fitting and programming hearing aids, and counseling patients regarding hearing loss and appropriate solutions. The role also involves maintaining accurate electronic health records, staying up to date with current hearing healthcare technologies, and collaborating with other professionals to provide the best patient outcomes.
Qualifications- Expertise in conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnosing hearing-related disorders
- Strong proficiency in fitting, programming, and maintaining hearing aid devices
- Skills in counseling, patient education, and providing personalized hearing care solutions
- Knowledge of electronic health records and documentation of patient information
- Current valid audiology license and credentials to practice in the state of North Carolina
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and within a team-setting
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in a clinical or dispensing role is preferred but not required
