Location: Royal Pines

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a full‑time MRI Technologist for a 4‑day work week. You will operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images while providing excellent patient service.

Patient MRI Imaging (90%)
  • Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures, positioning them appropriately for scanning.
  • Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body portions with minimal supervision, supporting patients throughout the process.
  • Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed.
  • Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintains an orderly and clean work area, sanitizing equipment and promoting safety for patients and team members.
  • Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects after each use.
  • Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
  • MRI Department Support (5%)
    • Assists with updating imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades.
    • Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary.
    • Assists in training new team members, providing resources and technical expertise.
    Other Tasks (5%)

    Completes additional tasks as assigned.

    Required Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
    • ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, per state regulations.
    • Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
    • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
    • Has sufficient training and experience to perform MRI procedures independently.
    • Certification in an imaging specialty.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bilingual proficiency.
