Pharmacy Technician I, Fulfillment – Bio Plus Specialty Pharmacy

Position type:
Full‑time, onsite (hybrid not considered without accommodation).

• Prepare and label prescriptions; count, weigh, measure, and pour medication, including controlled substances.
• Operate automated medication systems and the pharmacy’s adjudication platform to record required legal information for prescription verification.
• Maintain compliance with state board, local, and federal regulations regarding prescriptions.
• Communicate with prescribers, customers, and staff to complete prescriptions and verify data entry.
• Assist the pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling, and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Arrange work activities to meet pharmaceutical needs of customers.
• Answer phones, respond to customer questions or refer them to appropriate staff for medication information.
• Maintain accurate records of physician orders and prescriptions.
• Check inventory for out‑of‑date products, remove them, and coordinate with resources to record removal.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and safe, complying with all procedures and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• CPhT certification preferred.
• Experience in a dispensing pharmacy setting preferred.
