This is a CT Technologist travel/contract position at a low-volume critical access hospital in the mountains. The traveler will be required to perform both CT and X-Ray and may see only 6 10 exams per shift. The unit has an average daily census of 30, approximately 15 visits per day, and 30 beds. The CT technologist must be able to perform x-rays as well, unassisted.
The unit's system is Meditech, and the facility will train on this system if the traveler has no prior experience. Orientation will occur during the first and second week.
- Perform CT and X-Ray imaging independently and unassisted
- Perform 6 10 exams per shift in a low-volume critical access hospital environment
- Provide imaging services for patient populations including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Operate and navigate the Meditech unit system (facility will train if no prior experience)
- Complete full unit orientation during the first and second week of assignment

- Abdomen without and/or with contrast
- Colorectal studies (rectal contrast)
- Pelvis without and/or with contrast
- Chest without and/or with contrast
- Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)

- RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in a contract cancellation and DNR.
- Please provide candidate interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting. The Manager WILL NOT make an offer without first speaking to/interviewing the candidate.
- The expected start date is based on the facility's schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.
- The facility will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
