The shift for this position is:

Part Time 6a-2:30pm, every other weekend

Part Time 12p- 8:30p, every other weekend

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The Dietary Aide assists in preparing and serving meals to residents while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. This role is vital in supporting the nutritional well-being and overall quality of life for our residents.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to posted menus and dietary restrictions.

  • Set up dining areas and deliver trays to residents’ rooms as needed.

  • Ensure all kitchen and dining areas are clean, organized, and meet sanitation and safety standards.

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment used in meal preparation and service.

  • Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing food and supplies.

  • Follow proper food handling, portioning, and storage procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers to promote a positive dining experience.

  • Report any issues with food quality, resident concerns, or kitchen equipment to the supervisor.

  • Participate in ongoing training and maintain compliance with all regulations and facility policies.

Dietary Aide Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience as a dietary aide, especially in a healthcare setting, is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

  • Basic understanding of special diets and food allergies is helpful.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Must pass background check and health screening per facility requirements.

  • Must be available to work 12pm-8pm.
