Applications are currently invited for part‑time instructors in the Recreational Therapy program housed in the Department of Therapeutic and Clinical Health Care.
The Therapeutic and Clinical Health Care commonly has the need for part‑time instructors. We invite applications to be submitted for these potential openings.
These appointments are on a course‑by‑course basis. Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and discipline. These postings are continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. If your academic area of interest/expertise meets the programmatic needs of WCU at any time you will be contacted to discuss proposed teaching opportunities. These needs change from semester to semester.
Minimum Qualifications- Minimum qualifications for teaching in the academic programs are a master's or doctoral degree in the teaching discipline or a master's degree with a concentration (minimum 18 graduate semester hours) in the teaching discipline.
- Current NCTRC certification.
- Current North Carolina recreational therapy license or be eligible for the North Carolina recreational therapy license.
