The Medical Assistant serves as a key link between patients and providers, supporting the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

• Obtain and accurately document vital signs and patient information
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures
• Perform phlebotomy and collect, label, and process specimens
• Maintain exam rooms and ensure efficient patient flow
• Communicate effectively with patients in person and via telephone
• Support laboratory recordkeeping and routine safety checks
• Provide patient education with compassion and professionalism
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards

• Education/Training:
  Medical Assistant training (CMA/RMA preferred) or equivalent experience
• Experience:
  
  Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Certification:
  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and organizational ability

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)
