Licensed Mental Health Professional – South Central Region

• Provides a full spectrum of psychological and comprehensive clinical services to offenders.
• Applies theory in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders.
• Provides individual and group counseling to offenders.
• Serves as a liaison between correctional staff and offenders.

• Master's degree in psychology, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical counseling or human services related field from an appropriately accredited educational institution.
• Must hold an independent license to practice as a mental health clinical practitioner in North Carolina or have met the requirements to be licensed in North Carolina at the associate or provisional level as a mental health clinical practitioner.

Demonstrates expertise in providing psychological services, including diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, individual and group counseling, and effective communication with correctional staff. Holds a Master's degree in a relevant field and possesses the necessary licensure to practice as a mental health clinical practitioner in North Carolina.
