Step into an impactful full-time contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary-aged students throughout the school year. This assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering the chance to support communication growth in a dynamic educational setting.
Youll collaborate onsite Monday through Friday, working 37.5 hours each week with a manageable caseload of about 43 elementary students. Your expertise will deliver essential speech and language interventions, shape individualized educational goals, and champion positive outcomes for young learners.
DesiredQualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- National certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong preference for current, active North Carolina SLP licensure
- Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and data collection
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Assess student speech and language needs using standardized protocols
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student goals
- Manage documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Promote inclusive communication strategies within the school setting
