Job Description:

We're seeking a passionate, experienced Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You'll play a vital role in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection. If you're driven by the desire to help children reach their full potential and thrive in a supportive team environment, we'd love to have you on board!

Type:

Part-Time (15 Hours)

Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday thru Thursday 2:00pm - 5:30pm

Work Location:

In-Person / Client Home/Daycare - Spruce Pine, NC

Responsibilities:
  • Work effectively with children
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director
  • Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports
  • Implement behavior-based treatment plans
  • Educate parents on classroom support techniques
  • Ensure safety and quality care for clients
  • Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources
  • Maintain training materials and supplies
  • Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Experience with children and strong people skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
