Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Physical Therapists (PTs) for skilled nursing opportunities in Banner Elk, NC. This position offers competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to work a dedicated assignment with one of our healthcare partners.

An PT working contract through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to:

• Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Evaluate residents' physical function, strength, balance, mobility, and rehabilitation needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and functional independence
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and other skilled physical therapy interventions
• Recommend and train residents in the use of mobility aids, assistive devices, and other equipment as appropriate
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings and goals
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention strategies
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and resident outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active PT license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

• Active and unencumbered NC
  PT License or Compact PT License
• Government-Issued Photo  Passport
• CPR/BLS
• Resume
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
