• Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)

• Full Time Schedules
• Primarily Monday through Friday schedule
• Some weekends may be required
• 8 hour shifts available
• Contract Position

• Operates at the direction of an assigned licensed staff member, typically a staff psychologist
• Providing professional rehabilitative mental health services to offenders who are identified as having mental, social, physical, emotional, and/or cognitive impairments
• Documentation in the healthcare record, facilitation of psycho-educational groups, creating group activities, and offering feedback/clinical impressions as part of a treatment team
• Facilitation of curriculum-based and leisure activity groups and provision of individual support to offenders
• Monitoring, maintaining, and inventorying supplies used for programming
• Monitoring offenders as they work on treatment goals in the residential milieu and serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team
• Monitor the adjustment of offenders and implement specific techniques aimed at stress management, social skill development, adapting to the demands of the prison environment, and planning for return to the community
• Employee's supportive counseling role includes the use of crisis intervention techniques and referral to clinical staff for follow-up as necessary

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution
• Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
• 1+ year of relevant Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) experience

• Knowledge of casework methods, techniques, and their applications to work problems
• Knowledge of the principles of human growth and behavior, basic sociological and psychological treatment and therapy practices
• Knowledge of interviewing skills and techniques
• Ability to express ideas effectively, orally and in writing
• Ability to use interviewing skills and techniques effectively
• Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
