Entry-level position supporting adolescents. We are seeking Full-time Residential Care Specialist
to support our adolescent residential home in Siler City, NC.
P osition details:
Full-time on 1st shift, 6:45am-3:15pm, 2 nd shift, 2:45pm-11:15pm or 3rd shift, 10:45pm-7:15am.
Part-time or PRN positions are also available
Your impact on the team’s mission
The Residential Support Staff (RSS) plays a pivotal role in our adolescent residential home where we care for adolescents 12-17 years old with mental health diagnosis in a safe, therapeutic, home-like setting. The RSS provides direct client supervision and care and assists the team with providing individualized approaches to wellness in a positive, consistent, structured environment. Key skill in this position is staying awake the whole shift.
Some of the other daily activities you would do as the RSS are:
- Grocery shopping, meal preparation, and general housekeeping of the residence as well as planning and supervising activities.
- Medication administration and documentation following training period.
- Transporting residents to appointments and outings in a company vehicle.
- Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with MH/SA/IDD concerns is necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities you will bring.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current, valid NC driver's license and safe driving record required to transport.
