HowYou'll Contribute
- Coordinate and manage day‑to‑day activities in the front office of the Rehab Services Department.
- Receive, screen, and route visitors and telephone calls, responding to, escalating, and following up on inquiries and issues as appropriate.
- Register patients, verify data, and assist with completing forms; obtain and update demographic, billing, and third‑party coverage information, explaining policies and procedures as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, families, and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Maintain files, office equipment, and departmental records with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and hospital policies while assisting with scheduling, appointment reminders, or other support tasks.
Full‑Time;
This position will work at the Haywood Health & Fitness Center in the Rehab office.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional clerical experience may substitute for education.
- Prefer a minimum of two years of clerical or administrative experience in a healthcare or office setting.
- Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a high‑volume, fast‑paced, and sometimes stressful environment.
