Located in Hertford, NC

Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team on a full-time 7am–7pm shift
. This role is ideal for a CMA who is committed to safe medication administration and providing exceptional care in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment.

Position Overview

The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is responsible for administering medications accurately and safely while supporting residents’ daily care needs. You will work closely with nurses and CNAs to ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.

Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Accurately document medication administration and resident responses
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
  • Follow all state regulations, facility policies, and safety protocols
  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
Qualifications
  • Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in North Carolina
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
  • Knowledge of medication administration and documentation standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
