Start Date:
August 9 Helper Rate: $16.66 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and patient helper to support a client with dementia, limited mobility, and difficulty communicating. The client can assist partially with tasks but requires hands-on support and consistent companionship.
Care Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation (client can feed herself)
- Support with toileting and hygiene
- Assist with showering and dressing (client can help somewhat)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Ensure safety and supervision throughout the shift
Schedule
- Sundays 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with dementia care preferred
- Patient, calm, and supportive communication style
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
- Reliable and consistent
This role is ideal for a helper who is gentle and attentive, with the ability to support a client who has communication challenges and cognitive decline, while maintaining dignity and comfort.
