Registered Behavior Technician -RBT; ABA Therapy

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing quality care and support to enhance the lives of our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques.

Duties

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.

• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress to ensure accurate medical documentation.

• Assist clients in daily living activities while promoting independence and skill development.

• Educate clients and their families about behavioral health strategies and interventions.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Experience

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical records management and data collection processes is beneficial.

• Understanding of behavioral health concepts and experience in behavioral therapy practices.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate clients and families.

• Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations while providing patient care.
