Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Galaxy ABA NC LLC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in McLeansville, NC! As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, you'll join a dynamic team that prioritizes kindness, respect, and positive experiences.
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities- Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings
- Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA
- Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging
- Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation
- Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment
- High school diploma (required);
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred) - Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
- Ability to pass background checks and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
- Hourly rate: $22 - $32 hourly
