Job Title:

Certified Medication Technician Day shift position (12 hours shifts 7-7) Pays 12.00/hour must have TB skin test less than 12 months old. Purpose

The Medication Technician provides Assisted Living Services and assists with Medication Administration to meet resident care needs under the supervision of the Wellness Director and maintains a positive physical and social environment for the residents.

• Medication Assistance
• Assist residents with care activities.
• Reporting
• Comply with policies and procedures of the community as outlined in the Procedures Manual.
• Take initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.
• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding resident’s rights.
• Comply with HIPPA Regulations.
• Monitoring and responding to emergency call systems within facility promptly.
• Understand and follow safety and infection control policies and procedures.
• Report incidents and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Participation and knowledge in fire drills and evacuation procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Successful completion of Certified MED TECH required by state regulations.
• Must meet all health requirements, including TB. (Per State Regulations and Community Policy)
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Must possess sight or hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the communities, which may include a medical and physical examination.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds and a maximum of 50 pounds, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects periodically and/or as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
