LIBERTY SENIOR LIVING is currently seeking an experienced:

WELLNESS ASSOCIATE

Full Time, Days

• Assists residents with exercise protocol based on individual participant's needs, goals and/or ability levels.
• Assists Wellness Director with resident evaluations.
• Develops relationships with residents that encourages increased participation in exercise and wellness programs.
• Teaches water and land exercise classes and leads recreational exercise as directed by the wellness Director.
• Instructs residents in safety orientation and procedures for use of equipment utilized independently and without staff supervision.
• Responds to emergencies in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Emergency Procedure Manual.
• Assist in planning and promoting wellness programs based on needs and interests of the residents.
• Encourage social engagement through group exercise.
• Documents residents' attendance and participation level in wellness programs.
• Attends appropriate in-service training programs.
• Assists in the proper maintenance, storage, and use of the wellness supplies.
• Assists with the set-up of the intern programs and special events.
• Puts resident's service first, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
• Recognizes and respects individual's abilities and praises resident success in wellness programming.
• Performs other job duties as directed by the Wellness Director.

• High school degree or equivalent. Must have certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the center.
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Must be willing to work and cooperate well with other employees.
• Must be able to problem solve.
• Must be able to work well under pressure.
• Must be willing to perform various jobs.
• Must care for equipment used.
• Must use supplies economically.
• Demonstrates neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Wears appropriate attire in keeping with Community dress code.
• Must read, know and follow personnel, department and Community policy.
