Travel Occupational Therapy Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810–$1,940
- Location: Ahoskie, North Carolina
- Start Date: November 30, 2026
- Healthcare Setting: Approximately 90% outpatient occupational therapy with acute care support
- Call: Occasional holiday call may be required for acute stroke coverage; providers must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when called
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license
- Current BLS certification
- Adult and pediatric outpatient occupational therapy experience
- Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, fine motor, and functional performance conditions
- Ability to provide occupational therapy care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting when needed
- Basic splinting skills preferred, particularly for hand therapy patients
- Ability to participate in occasional holiday call coverage and respond within the required timeframe
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide outpatient rehabilitation to approximately 70% adult and 30% pediatric patients
- Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, fine motor, and functional limitations
- Provide basic splinting and related interventions for appropriate hand therapy patients
- Support acute care occupational therapy services for adult and geriatric patients when outpatient volume is reduced or coverage is needed
- Respond to acute stroke needs during assigned call coverage
- Document patient progress and collaborate with the broader rehabilitation and healthcare team
- Promote safe, functional participation in daily activities across outpatient and acute care settings
