Bermuda Village Retirement Community is seeking a dependable and customer-service-focused Part-Time Valet to join our Concierge team.

• Position: Valet
• Location: Independent Living
• Reports To: Director of Resident Services
• Pay: Hourly / Non-Exempt

The Valet provides exceptional service to our residents and guests by assisting with parking, retrieving vehicles, and creating a safe, welcoming, and positive experience throughout the community.

• Greet and welcome residents, guests, families, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide professional valet services, including parking and retrieving resident vehicles.
• Open vehicle doors and assist residents and guests with luggage or other heavy items.
• Assist with delivering packages, food, luggage, and other items.
• Shuttle residents to and from appointments, the airport, and other transportation needs.
• Maintain the lobby and surrounding areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Answer phones appropriately and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Provide courteous and professional service while prioritizing resident safety and satisfaction.
• Work responsibly both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the rights and privacy of residents and others.
• Follow all regulations and requirements regarding resident rights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proven safe and clean driving record is essential.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must meet all applicable health and safety requirements.
• Must be dependable, honest, ethical, and professional.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Compassion and a desire to work with older adults.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Previous valet, customer service, hospitality, or similar experience is preferred.
• Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position requires frequent standing and walking, as well as bending, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting 25+ pounds
. The position involves frequent interaction with residents and guests and may require working in varying temperatures and environments.
