Hotel Front Office Supervisor

The hotel front office supervisor manages daily front desk operations, coordinates guest arrivals and departures, and leads team members to deliver great service. This role supports hotel management by training staff, handling guest issues, and balancing financial transactions.

Supervise front desk agents, assign daily tasks, and help create work schedules.

Train new hires, monitor performance, and provide feedback.

Greet guests, oversee smooth check-ins and check-outs, and handle special requests.

Resolve customer complaints calmly and professionally.

Work with housekeeping and maintenance to report room status and repair needs.

Audit shifts, manage cash drawers and banks, and verify billing accuracy.

One to two years of front desk or hospitality experience, often with prior leadership duties.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Clear verbal and written communication skills with professional telephone and in-person etiquette.

Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and cash handling.

Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
