⭐Novant Health is seeking a dynamic and engaging Leadership & Organization Development Consultant I to join our team! ⭐

The Leadership and Organizational Development Consultant I is responsible for designing and implementing programs that enhance the new hire orientation experience as well as leadership capabilities for the organization. This role ensures that new hires are effectively oriented, equipped with essential knowledge about the company, its culture, policies, and procedures, and are set up for success in their new roles. This is a key role in creating a positive first impression and fostering a smooth transition into the organization.

This is a hybrid position. Considering candidates local to the Charleston/Mount Pleasant, SC area.

• Create, lead, and facilitate tailored learning like the Novant Health new hire orientation program, otherwise known as Starting Line. Design and deliver onboarding experiences that support newly promoted leaders in successfully transitioning into their leadership roles. Maintain program content and materials.
• Deliver engaging, interactive sessions that include a variety of practices such as role‑play, case studies, and simulations. Provide real‑time feedback and coaching during sessions to support team member development.
• Lead and facilitate Novant Health University leadership development sessions, including workshops and training sessions, for both virtual and in‑person delivery.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships across the organization, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and continued engagement.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in leadership and organizational development.
• Ensure programs are aligned with Novant Health’s goals, industry best practices, and organizational culture.
• Measure the effectiveness of programs using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Adapt and customize content and delivery methods based on feedback and evolving organizational needs.
• Prepare reports and presentations on program outcomes, ROI, and recommendations for future actions.

• Education:
  
  4‑Year / Bachelor’s Degree. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; required. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM‑SCP, ATD Master Trainer, PCC), preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership and organizational development, with a proven track record of strong facilitation skills and consulting engagements, required.

  Skills Required:
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills – both in‑person and in a virtual environment.
  • Experience in developing and delivering team member and leadership initiatives and programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about helping new employees succeed.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with leaders and diverse teams.
