This position is subject to the successful completion of an employment background check. Primary Purpose of Organization UnitThe position is part of the University’s Office of Human Resources, within the Chancellor’s Division. The Office of Human Resources provides a wide range of customer-focused HR services, including:
- Recruitment and employment for all university positions, including EHRA faculty, non-faculty, SHRA , Exempt Professional Staff ( EPS ), temporary and student employees
- EEO compliance, classification and salary administration
- Benefits Administration
- Performance management, professional development, and training
- Records management, policy and procedural administration
- Employee relations, HR information systems & data reporting
Primary Purpose of Position
Employment at the University of North Carolina Pembroke involves a strategic approach to recruiting and retaining staff across various roles, from educators to administrative and support personnel. Our team provides strategic services in the following areas: recruitment consultation, SHRA and EHRA faculty and non-faculty postings, applicant screening, evaluation of assessment tools and hiring needs. The Office of Human Resources also focus on educating and supporting campus partners, hiring managers, and search committee members, ensuring compliance with university, state, and federal regulations.
