DC Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an DC Engineer for a Contract with a client in Maiden, NC (Hybrid). You will manage and enhance our ArcGIS web application to ensure accurate, high‑performing geospatial functionality.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of the ArcGIS web application, including development, maintenance, updates, and performance optimization.
• Implement new features and enhancements such as filters for rendering geospatial elements (e.g., polygons) and improved user interaction tools.
• Integrate new site sections, spatial datasets, and project‑specific layers to support active field operations and survey workflows.
• Maintain and update geospatial data within ArcGIS, ensuring accurate representation of current projects and future planning polygons.
• Ensure seamless saving and synchronization of user‑added features from the web application into the ArcGIS Geodatabase.
• Organize and manage Box folders while linking multimedia assets—videos, images, and documents—directly to the web application.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Geospatial Science, GIS, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience working with ArcGIS, JavaScript‑based web applications, and SQL‑driven data environments.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in developing, maintaining, and optimizing ArcGIS web applications with integration of geospatial datasets.
• Proven ability to manage Geodatabase workflows, implement feature‑level updates, and support field teams through accurate data synchronization and multimedia integration.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
