The Process Improvement & AI Specialist works closely with business leaders to identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance overall performance. This role combines continuous improvement practices with the practical use of AI and automation tools to streamline operations and modernize workflows. The individual helps translate business challenges into actionable solutions and supports implementation from concept through execution.

- Partner with leaders across departments to understand operational challenges
- Facilitate discussions to uncover inefficiencies and root causes
- Help prioritize initiatives based on impact and feasibility
- Act as a bridge between operations, IT, and leadership
- Map current-state workflows using standard tools
- Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and manual tasks
- Design and implement improved future-state processes
- Apply Lean and continuous improvement principles
- Measure results including time savings, cost reduction, and quality improvements
- Evaluate processes for automation or AI opportunities
- Support selection and testing of tools (AI, RPA, workflow systems)
- Assist with implementation and scaling of successful solutions
- Ensure solutions are practical, user-friendly, and deliver ROI
- Track multiple initiatives and maintain project visibility
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Support communication plans and training efforts
- Drive adoption of new processes and tools
- Use data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Create dashboards and simple reporting
- Define and track KPIs
- Support data-driven decision making

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3–7 years relevant experience
- Exposure to process improvement or operations roles
- Experience with AI or automation tools preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of process improvement frameworks
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
- Comfortable working across teams
- Curiosity and interest in new technologies
- Number of completed improvement initiatives
- Measured cost savings and efficiency gains
- Adoption of new processes and tools
- Positive feedback from stakeholders
- Microsoft Excel (advanced)
- Power BI or other reporting tools
- Process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Automation tools (RPA, workflow systems)
- AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, operate business equipment, and dial the telephone. They are regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 30 lbs. General office setting with site field work expected.
