Job Description
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the critical infrastructure that supports a datacenter environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the operation and optimization of servers, networks, and storage systems to ensure seamless performance and reliability. You will manage and maintain advanced storage systems, including Dell, HPE, and Pure Storage Network Attached Storage, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Your expertise will also be required to manage copper and fiber cabling, ensuring efficient connectivity across the infrastructure. In this role, you will leverage your experience in power and cooling capacity management to estimate and optimize resource utilization within the datacenter. You will create detailed diagrams using tools like Visio or DrawIO to map server racks, physical connections, and network layouts, providing clear documentation for current and future infrastructure planning.
what you’ll need
- 8 to 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Dell and HPE server hardware
- Dell and Pure Storage storage appliance
- Network engineering
- Server Operating Systems
- Routing and switching
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Cisco networking equipment experience
- Datacenter automation experience
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland
. The base pay range for this position in these locations is $130,200–$265,300 USD.
