Samaritan's Purse is seeking a People Soft Support Specialist to join our team in North Wilkesboro, NC
. You can be a part of a highly professional U.S Rebuild team. In this role, you will serve alongside the Technology and Data Manager to support U.S. Rebuild program objectives. You will support the design and implementation of the People Soft Financial system to include project management, asset management, financial accounting, purchasing, and inventory management. This position will facilitate communication among all Rebuild stakeholders, ensure cross-functional processes work effectively, and will support the design and integration of current systems with Peoplesoft.

In the role of People Soft Support Specialist
, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Support U.S Rebuild objectives by developing business requirements of People Soft that will support Office and Field processes for managing multiple Rebuild programs, effectively and transparently executing project management, purchasing, finance, and inventory across U.S Rebuild programs.
  • Act as the operations expert on current and future processes as it relates to the People Soft system. Work with IT to deliver a solution that is user-friendly and replaces or integrates well with current systems.
  • Lead Subject Matter Expert teams in system development and testing; support IT in troubleshooting issues for quick resolution.
  • Communicate and support change management and training of People Soft processes. Ensure staff are engaged and trained on new system and processes.
  • Lead the Peoplesoft design and implementation efforts for U.S Rebuild and provide regular updates to key leaders on anticipated changes, improvements and decisions throughout the project.
  • Coordinate communication with all stakeholders on upcoming milestones and expectations for People Soft testing and implementation. Audit the implemented processes to ensure system and data accuracy and assist with troubleshooting issues and communicating to IT for review and correction.

What are the qualifications?
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in difficult situations.
  • Highly effective communication skills, including written and oral.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
  • General knowledge of Excel and Word, and the ability to learn in-house specialized computer applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation Medical Card.
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required.
