Description Be the Person Who Gets Technology Back on Track!

Are you the person your friends and coworkers call when “the computer isn't working”? Do you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and figuring out why something isn't connecting?

ALULA is looking for a Part‑Time IT Support Technician – On‑Site Support to join our team and provide hands‑on technology support across our facilities, programs, warehouses, and managed residential locations.

Our Managed Service Provider (MSP) handles the first line of helpdesk support. As the on‑site IT expert, you'll step in when a problem requires someone to be there in person—whether that’s setting up a new computer, troubleshooting a printer, helping an employee get connected, preparing equipment for a new hire, or resolving a hardware issue.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, working with people, and being on the move rather than sitting at a desk all day.

What You'll Do

You’ll help keep our employees connected, productive, and supported by:

  • Responding to IT support tickets that require hands‑on, on‑site assistance.
  • Traveling between ALULA facilities, warehouses, program locations, and managed residences to provide in‑person support.
  • Troubleshooting common issues with:
    • Desktops and laptops
    • Mobile devices
    • Printers and scanners
    • Wi‑Fi and network connectivity
    • Peripherals and other technology
  • Supporting employees with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
  • Setting up, configuring, imaging, and deploying computers and other devices.
  • Installing software, updates, drivers, and operating system updates.
  • Helping maintain and track IT equipment and software inventory.
  • Assisting with equipment repairs, replacements, and warranty services.
  • Supporting new employee onboarding by preparing accounts, computers, phones, and other equipment.
  • Assisting with employee offboarding and ensuring equipment and access are properly collected and deactivated.
  • Performing basic account and access tasks, including password resets, group membership, licensing, and multi‑factor authentication support.
  • Troubleshooting basic wired, wireless, and VPN connectivity issues.
  • Supporting printers, conference rooms, shared devices, and other technology across multiple locations.
  • Assisting the Systems Administrator with routine system checks, alerts, and other IT needs.
  • Escalating more complex issues to the Systems Administrator with clear documentation and troubleshooting details.
  • Assisting with technology deployments, upgrades, and other special IT projects.
  • Supporting the IT Software & ERP Manager with on‑site technology and business application projects, including Sage ERP, as assigned.
  • Creating and maintaining simple how‑to guides, procedures, and other helpful resources.
  • Keeping accurate and timely documentation in the ticketing system.
  • Protecting confidential employee, organizational, and client information.
  • Following IT security policies and helping employees practice good cybersecurity habits.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is curious, dependable, patient, and great with people.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy helping people solve technology problems.
  • Can explain technical concepts in a way that makes sense to someone who isn’t an IT expert.
  • Are patient and friendly—even when someone says, “I have no idea what I clicked.”
  • Like troubleshooting and figuring out the root cause of a problem.
  • Can prioritize multiple requests and keep track of what needs to happen next.
  • Take ownership of an issue and follow it through to resolution.
  • Know when something is outside your expertise and when to bring in additional help.
  • Are comfortable working independently while also being part of a larger IT team.
  • Learn new software, tools, and technologies quickly.
  • Pay attention to security and understand the importance of protecting sensitive information.
  • Are comfortable traveling between multiple locations during the workday.
A Role That’s On the Move

This isn’t a traditional sit‑at‑a‑desk‑all‑day IT position.

You’ll regularly travel between offices, manufacturing facilities, warehouses,…
