Serve as a focal point and subject matter expert for cloud systems supporting managed security services.
Manage cloud systems, vendors, documentation, architecture, and engineering support.InfusionPoints provides managed security services for a large cloud infrastructure provider. This role supports a rapidly growing cloud service offering and serves as the primary SME for the cloud system.
The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of experience managing enterprise information systems and hands‑on expertise across SAN, virtualization, backup, networking, and security technologies.
5-7+ years Enterprise information systems management experience.
Cloud SME Primary focal point for cloud system matters.
Responsibilities
What this role owns. Architecture and support- Stay current on cloud computing trends, including federal government use.
- Provide engineering-level expertise for infrastructure engineering, implementation, and support.
- Assess and develop cloud architectures.
- Manage relationships with multiple vendors and support organizations.
- Develop processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Support AWS, Azure and Office 365 infrastructure needs.
- U.S. citizens only.
Experience
Background that helps.- 5-7+ years of commercial or public sector experience.
- 3-5 years hands‑on technical experience at the engineering level.
- 2-3 years managing implementation of large systems or projects.
- BS degree in Information Systems or related discipline.
- AWS or Microsoft technical certifications preferred.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, Security+, GSEC, or CIPP are a plus.
