AboutThe Role
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our real estate practice in a role designed for long-term growth. This position offers a clear pathway into the legal field through hands‑on training and mentorship from an experienced real estate paralegal.
You will play an active role in supporting real estate matters from preparation through closing while developing practical skills in transaction support, file management, and client communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, client interaction, and being part of meaningful work that helps individuals and families navigate important life decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Support real estate transactions by assisting with file preparation, document organization, and closing coordination.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, lenders, and real estate professionals.
- Assist with scheduling closings, inspections, and related appointments.
- Prepare routine correspondence, confirmations, and reminders.
- Track title orders and support document preparation and e-recording.
- Maintain organized digital files and case workflows.
- Learn directly from an experienced real estate paralegal through ongoing mentorship.
- Contribute to smooth transaction timelines and positive client experiences.
- Organized and dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable communicating with clients and third parties.
- Tech‑savvy and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Proactive and resourceful in supporting team needs.
- Interested in developing skills in real estate law and transactional work.
- Professional in both written and verbal communication.
- Trustworthy and committed to confidentiality.
- Experience in real estate, lending, administrative support, or a law firm environment is helpful but not required.
