Position OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional Estate Planning Paralegal to join our collaborative team full time one site in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. In this role, you will work alongside experienced attorneys to support our clients' estate planning needs while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Draft comprehensive estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Serve as primary point of contact for client communications and coordinate implementation of estate plans
- Manage multiple client matters simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Proactively identify and address potential issues to ensure smooth project progression
- Support attorneys in document preparation, client meetings, and file management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal technology platforms
- Demonstrated organizational abilities and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Professional demeanor with a focus on client service
- Patient and friendly disposition with strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to learning estate planning law and procedures
- Detail-oriented mindset with emphasis on accuracy and thoroughness
Prior estate planning experience is not required
—we will provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. Legal experience is preferred but not mandatory.
