Job Summary:

The Senior Project Logistics Coordinator serves as a key logistics lead responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of project shipments and inventory movements. This role provides guidance to Level I and II Coordinators, ensures compliance with logistics procedures and drives efficiency across multiple projects. The Senior Coordinator partners closely with engineering, procurement, and operations to anticipate project needs and develop logistics strategies that support on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned logistics professional with deep experience in project-based environments, exceptional communication skills, and strong ERP proficiency. This role requires the ability to handle high-volume or complex projects, identify process improvements, and mentor junior team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

(Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):

+ Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

+ 4+ years of progressive experience in logistics coordination, project management, or supply chain operations.

+ Expertise with ERP systems (IFS preferred; SAP, Oracle, or JDE accepted).

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).

+ Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

+ Proven experience managing logistics for multiple concurrent or large-scale projects.

+ Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

+ Ability to mentor and train less-experienced coordinators.

+ Must be able to work in an office setting and perform extended computer-based tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Use IFS to track, check, and prioritize shipping schedule.

+ Coordinate and request shipping quotes as required.

+ Assign loads to carriers and oversee logistics arrangements.

+ Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and all necessary shipping documentation and ensure timely submission to the Shipping Department.

+ Request Freight POs to the Project assistants.

+ Upload signed BOLs and supporting documents into the ERP system (IFS).

+ Ensure customer orders (COs) are transacted promptly once shipments are completed.

+ Verify that the photos of the shipments are uploaded into IFS by the Shipping Department.

+ Maintain accurate records of all project-related shipments and quotes.

+ Lead weekly shipment coordination meetings and communicate updates effectively.

+ Collaborate closely with the Shipping Department to ensure smooth operations.

+ Support Sales and Business Development by preparing shipping quotes for new opportunities.

+ Contact the POC to ensure alignment on deliveries.

+ Participate in project meetings to provide logistics updates and insights.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

+ Provide regular updates to management on activities, issues, and other responsibilities as assigned.

+ Track shop order progress and verify equipment readiness to support project schedules.

+ Work with the Sr. PPMs to ensure all weekly goals are met.

+ Other tasks as deemed necessary by the Supervisor.

Working Conditions:

+ This position is on-site at our facility located in Stokesdale, NC.

+ Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.

+ Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones (Central/Eastern/Mountain/Pacific), if necessary.

+ Be flexible for after-hours tasks, as needed.
