Long Term Material Planner
OverviewThe role involves responsibility for long term material planning for a specific category in Nomad (Fish, meat, Veg or packaging). It includes developing and defining material processes across the business, leading planning execution in line with business targets, and defining the material planning organization to deliver business results.
ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities include overall ownership of category materials planning across the full Nomad network on a specific category to be defined. It also involves owning materials inventory levels to guarantee the balance between service level and cash, in line with business yearly targets. The role requires developing and maintaining strong working relationships with markets, innovation, procurement, and supply functions to ensure that the monthly planning cycle delivers for the business and has the right level of governance across the end-to-end process.
Additionally, the job entails developing long term material requirements for assigned suppliers/material and developing a long term planning strategy in collaboration with procurement to secure the right monthly capacity. It includes identifying from the long term plan any capacity or supply gap and inventory strategy, implementing supplier Rough Cut Capacity Planning Processes, and external material planning interface with strategic suppliers driving joint value creation initiatives.
The role also involves implementing the Material Supply Management Capability framework including materials strategic master planning, collaborating with procurement on business continuity plans for key strategic suppliers or capacity constrained suppliers, managing significant material availability challenges across all country markets in the region, and leading communication to business contacts across impacted countries.
Furthermore, the job requires developing and owning Service Level execution agreement with key strategic suppliers to drive cost, cash, service performance, owning short term regional availability management, and working with procurement and R&D to define key saving projects on his category standards, and that these controls are also standardized, simplified, and automated as far as possible.
QualificationsThe qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain or a related business field, experience of working within a team-oriented and collaborative environment, evidence of developing, transforming, and improving business processes, strategy, and performance, and ability and experience in working internationally, across multiple business units.
