Role Description The Export Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Stanley NC. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing export documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating shipments, primarily for ocean exports. The Export Coordinator communicates with carriers, freight forwarders, and clients to confirm bookings, track cargo, and resolve any issues that may arise during transit. Daily tasks include data entry into export systems, maintaining accurate records, and responding promptly to customer inquiries.
The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to support efficient export operations and high-quality customer service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Export Documentation and Export process skills, including familiarity with commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Ocean export logistics, including booking procedures, schedules, and documentation requirements.
- Relevant qualifications such as experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or international trade are beneficial.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with common office software and export or logistics systems; prior experience with customs or export compliance tools is a plus.
- High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
