Comm Scope Building & Campus

Comm Scope’s Building & Campus business delivers end‑to‑end enterprise networking infrastructure—structured copper and fiber cabling (SYSTIMAX®, NET CONNECT®, Uniprise®), powered fiber and automated infrastructure management (im Vision®).

It focuses on high bandwidth, longer distances, smarter visibility/monitoring, faster deployment and large‑venue coverage—enabling connected, secure environments across offices, campuses, universities, hospitals, airports and other venues.

How You’ll Help Us Connect The World

Responsible for planning processes within the segment, specifically providing guidance on plant-based scheduling and raw material MRP. Drives end-to-end accountability for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand and supply reviews, as well as the design and execution of supply chain planning across business units. This includes maintaining healthy inventory levels and implementing mitigating actions. Collaborates with Operations Management and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) with the primary goal of balancing competing objectives: maximizing customer service, minimizing supply chain costs, and optimizing required working capital.

This

position will be based in our Claremont, N.C. Facilitiy, or in Comm Scope’s site in Reynosa, Mexico.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Execute Planning activities by being the focal point of communication with the BU and Operations leaders.
  • Design, coordinate and publish periodic reports pertaining to forecast / Inventory and Operations relevant to current business requirements.
  • Coordinate Sales & Operations Planning Process in collaboration with PLM, Sales and Operations.
  • Owns the supply review meetings, enabling the balancing of demand and supply by facilitating cross-functional adjustments.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure capacity levels are managed in support of the consensus forecast.
  • Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain standardized operating procedures.
  • First point of contact to mitigate and solve escalated issues to debottleneck supply chain operations
  • Manages inventory levels in assigned regions and business units, working closely with operations, sales and product line management for supply chain optimization;
    Publish excess inventory reports
  • Engage in NPI activities with Engineering / Sales and PLM to support speed-to-market initiatives
  • Measure, support and develop local entity planners
  • Manage system parameters for entire Product Life Cycle
  • Work closely with procurement and vendors in managing contract manufacturing products where applicable
  • Balance supply and capacity to provide the highest level of customer service and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications For Consideration
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with two or more years of validated experience in supply and operations and experience with ERP and reporting tools.
  • MS Office – Excel knowledge
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Knowledge of production control systems, specifically SAP
