Logistics Coordinator I – Marshall, NC – Up to $24/hr – Temporary
Pride Staff is looking for a Logistics Coordinator I for a full-time, hourly role at a functional beverage manufacturing company located in Marshall, NC. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced logistics environment while helping products move efficiently and safely through the supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule daily inbound and outbound shipments in collaboration with warehouse, transportation, and supply chain team members.
- Track and monitor shipments, provide status updates, and escalate delivery issues for timely resolution.
- Ensure operations meet food safety and quality standards by following GMP and SQF policies, and reporting issues to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Perform routine task requirements such as Net Suite order entry, maintaining accurate logistics records (bills of lading, freight invoices), and supporting inventory management activities like cycle counts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Warehouse, QA, and Customer Service, to support accurate and timely product flow.
- Assist with carrier scheduling, load coverage, and rate gathering under the guidance of department leadership.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- High School Diploma or GED required; 0-3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, shipping/receiving, or administrative operations preferred. (Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is a plus).
- High attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, push/pull/move light materials, and stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch as needed.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently, as well as regularly use a computer, phone, and logistics/warehouse management systems (e.g., NS, RF Smart WMS).
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow through coaching and on-the-job development.
- Entry-level candidates with strong aptitude will be considered, providing an opportunity for on-the-job development and coaching.
