Material Analyst

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Material Analyst. This is an onsite role that will be located in our Arden, NC facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You'll Do:

The Material Analyst lead data integrity, material planning effectiveness, and demand planning accuracy initiatives across ERP platforms. Drive continuous improvement of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes, forecast quality, and transactional discipline to ensure reliable planning signals, inventory accuracy, and operational execution. Serve as a key ambassador for data health by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and improve system utilization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead order reconciliation activities across Vista, OEI, and Mapics systems to ensure data accuracy, alignment, and integrity between all integrated ERP platforms.
  • Monitor and improve Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) run accuracy to ensure demand and supply plans are effectively translated into material requirements.
  • Review, maintain, and optimize MRP planning parameters to improve planning efficiency, inventory performance, and material availability.
  • Analyze planning and system discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to resolve MPS/MRP inconsistencies and data integrity issues.
  • Develop and maintain key performance metrics related to ERP data health, planning accuracy, and material management effectiveness.
  • Perform demand and forecast analysis to improve forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.
  • Monitor and improve Management Load Lines (MLL) to Planning Bill of Material (BOM) ratio accuracy.
  • Ensure Planning BOM data accuracy and alignment with operational and supply chain requirements.
  • Execute manual demand blending activities when required to enhance forecast reliability and support business objectives.
  • Conduct planning sanity checks and validation activities to identify risks and proactively address planning exceptions.
  • Serve as a Data Health Ambassador by driving accountability and engagement among functional stakeholders responsible for data quality and planning execution.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce and resolve past-due Sales Orders (SO), Manufacturing Orders (MO), and Purchase Orders (PO).
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Materials teams to improve inventory accuracy and maintain data integrity across systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs that strengthen transaction discipline, ERP utilization, and planning process compliance.
  • Promote standard work, process governance, and continuous improvement best practices to support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance, planning effectiveness, and overall supply chain performance
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
  • Relocation is not available. Candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Arden, NC to be considered.
