Duties
Helps determine parts supportability across all sources of supply for established and future shop requirements of DLA and non-DLA managed materials.
Provides material support of particular projects, work operations, and/or programs and serves as a material support point of contact for maintenance customers.
Analyzes and reviews Unfilled Order and Gross Demand Plan documents to develop and recommend process improvement strategies for more effective material sustainability.
Collaborates with DLA Customer Support Specialist, Demand and Supply Planners, and appropriate Navy personnel to set and establish safety retail stock levels.
Reviews and evaluates demand and supply metrics data indicating misalignments between maintenance requirement and supply availability.
