Impulse Trading Co. is seeking a Warehouse/Sales Associate who will assist customers, help with sales, and support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has a general understanding of lumber and plywood, enjoys working with customers, and can provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service.

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service to customers, assisting with product selection, orders, and general inquiries.
• Assist customers with loading and retrieving materials while ensuring orders are accurate and fulfilled efficiently.
• Option to run local deliveries to our customers in the company truck. No CDL required.
• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. On-site training will be provided if you do not currently have a forklift certification.
• Assist with unloading incoming deliveries and properly organize and store materials within the warehouse.
• Operate the cash register and accurately process customer purchases and payments.
• Assist with inside sales by providing basic product information, pricing, and availability for lumber, plywood, and related products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and customer-facing area.
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales staff, and other team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and customer needs are met.
• Follow established safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment when handling materials and operating equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the daily operations of the company.

• Ability to work a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. as needed.
• Ability to safely climb and move up and down ladders as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate clearly, answer questions, and help customers receive the right materials efficiently.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use company software and systems.
• Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to work comfortably with tools and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and conscientious with a strong commitment to quality work and attendance.
