The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition for the property. The position includes a variety of light maintenance tasks including caulking, painting, basic electric, plumbing, carpentry and other jobs as necessary.

• Inspect property to determine units or systems requiring maintenance or repair and report work needed to Management.
• Perform the work schedule on a timely basis, ensuring all elements of the property meet resort standards. This requires prioritizing service requests, establishing daily work schedules for maintenance staff and following up on assignments for efficient, thorough completion.
• Perform light painting, light carpentry, light plumbing, light electric, preventive maintenance and other jobs as necessary.
• Maintain pool chemicals, filters, pumps, and plumbing.
• Assist in moving beach chairs and umbrellas to and from the beach in season when needed.
• Be available to handle after-hours emergency problems as directed by Management.

• Ability to move around the property in all types of weather conditions.
• A significant amount of physical activity such as walking and climbing stairs (often while lifting or carrying items), bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching above shoulder height, grasping, gripping, turning or lifting is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
