Job Description

NOW HIRING – GREENHOUSE WORKER!

Looking for a hands-on job where you can stay active and work outdoors/inside a greenhouse environment? We’re hiring dependable team members to help with daily greenhouse operations!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Water and care for plants

• Assemble potting trays and place pots into trays

• Hang pots and caged pots

• Operate greenhouse vents, fans, and heaters to maintain proper growing conditions

• Load trays onto shipping racks

• Load materials for transportation

• Sweep, organize, and maintain a clean work area

• Assist with general greenhouse duties as needed

• May operate a tractor and trailer on the property after completing required training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 50 lbs. or more requires a team lift

• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, pull, and crawl

• Standing: 65–100% of the workday

• Walking: 65–100% of the workday

• Climbing: 0–35%

• Average vision required

WHAT TO WEAR:

• Casual attire is acceptable

• Tennis shoes or comfortable work boots
