** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
*** Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
* Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient performance of equipment and facilities.
* Supervise and lead a team, providing mentorship, training, and support.
* Lead core maintenance metrics (Mean Time To Repair & Mean Time Between Failure).
* Manage the Daily Management System for the maintenance department.
* Partner with the EHS leader to enforce workforce safety (LOTO, Machine Guarding, etc.).
* Align maintenance schedules with production and operations teams to limit output loss and increase thruput.
* Partner with the Plant Manager to transition the plant from reactive to predictive maintenance.
* Support and lead maintenance team KPI’s and quality of work.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or potential problems.
* Manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Collaborate with other departments to support production and operational goals.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
* Implement and lead a preventive maintenance program to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
* Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
* Oversee building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security and grounds maintenance.
* Responsible for emergency response and after-hours support in the plant.
* Manage site improvement projects.
** YOU HAVE:
*** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field, preferred.
* Experience as a Maintenance leader or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and standard methodologies.
* Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with a collaborative approach that motivates and engages team to achieve operational excellence.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with a high degree of tact and professionalism.
* Strong focus on equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance, best practices.
* Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
** Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:
*** Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to work in a manufacturing and industrial facility environment.
* This role involves pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, stooping, kneeling and crawling.
