Sr. Manager Environmental Health and Safety
The Sr. Manager, EH&S provides strategic and operational leadership for Environmental Health & Safety across the Fairview and Arden manufacturing sites. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and continuously improving EH&S programs that ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a strong safety culture aligned with TE standards and operational excellence priorities.
Job Requirements:
- Multi-Site EH&S Leadership:
Lead EH&S strategy and execution across Fairview and Arden, ensuring consistent application of standards, procedures, and regulatory compliance. - Risk & Compliance Management:
Assess, quantify, and prioritize EH&S risks; implement mitigation strategies and ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental, and internal compliance requirements. - Management System Ownership:
Own and advance the EH&S management system (including SAFE or equivalent), ensuring effectiveness, audit readiness, and continuous improvement. - Operational Integration:
Partner with site leadership to embed EH&S into daily operations, production processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Safety Culture & Engagement:
Drive a proactive safety culture through leadership visibility, employee engagement, and behavioral-based safety programs. - Metrics & Performance:
Establish and monitor leading/lagging indicators (e.g., near misses, risk assessments, ergonomic improvements); drive performance against site and business KPIs. - Training & Capability Building:
Develop and implement EH&S training programs to ensure full workforce competency and compliance. - Sustainability Leadership:
Lead environmental and sustainability initiatives (waste, water, energy reduction) aligned with corporate goals. - Cross-Functional Influence:
Chair safety committees, lead investigations, and coordinate corrective actions across operations, engineering, and HR. - Team Leadership:
Provide direction and development for EH&S professionals supporting both sites; serve as the primary advisor to site and business leadership on all EH&S matters.
What your background should look like:
- Proven ability to analyze EH&S performance and manufacturing processes, identify gaps, and implement sustainable improvements
- Demonstrated experience driving compliance, audits, and regulatory interface
- Strong capability to influence senior site leadership and drive cross-functional execution
- Experience leading multi-site or complex manufacturing environments preferred
- Track record of building high-performing teams and strengthening safety culture
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field required
- 12+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 10+ years)
- Prior manufacturing EH&S leadership experience required
- Certifications such as CSP or CIH preferred

Compensation:
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $149, (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
