Responsibilities
The following key responsibilities outline the minimum expectations for the Store Assistant Manager role at Domino’s Pizza.
- Answer the phone and assist carry-out customers politely, knowledgeable of menu.
- Maintain a perfect image according to store standards.
- Demonstrate customer WOW steps:
Apologize;
Provide requested order;
Offer an extra. - Count peperoni and ham on every order regardless of topping amount.
- Do not clear pizzas before they are ready for the oven.
- Drivers must have $1 in coin change on hand for each delivery and say “Let me get your change” for every order.
- Drivers must not carry more than $20 while on the clock, including personal money.
- Drivers must not have a pocket knife or weapon while working.
- Driver vehicles must be neat, clean, and present a positive image.
- Drivers must not be routed or checked in early for delivery.
- Pizza makers must wash hands before making products.
- Only proper procedures for products are allowed.
- All drivers must complete Safe Delivery CBT.
- Every order is to be repeated for accuracy; name and address confirmed.
- Responsible for all results in assigned stores.
- Ensure food, labor, and service goals are within target.
- Conduct P&L review with direct supervisor each month.
- Work minimum 50 hours per week with 1 day off and 1 on-call day.
- Ensure all stores meet or exceed minimum TIPS and Domino’s Pizza Standards.
- Ensure all stores are staffed and that all team members are trained.
- Maintain repair and maintenance in all stores.
- Implement all new products or ideas seamlessly.
- Ensure stores run at a minimum 4-star level.
- Perform Self OERs first week of each period and apply appropriate corrections.
- Complete evaluations, raises and paperwork; notify D.O. as needed.
- Follow through all assignments and ensure all reports and paperwork are turned in timely.
- Complete all store-level reports and paperwork accurately.
- Know all product and operational standards.
- Follow all safety and security procedures; keep equipment working.
- Maintain store budgets.
- Prepare and deliver all school lunches within required standards.
- Provide accurate, detailed accountability; keep paper trail.
- Ensure all equipment is available and utilized correctly.
- Perform inventory checks each store each month.
- Use system checklists and visit books in place.
