Fleet Support Team Logistics Supervisor

You will support a weapon system or commodity area for the Fleet Support Team.

You will provide effective supervision of the FST Logistics personnel and logistics management of the assigned weapon system.

You will manage the planning, development and acquisition, integrating and delivery of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements to design, support and achieve maintainability.

Requirements Conditions of employment:

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the

  and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .

Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Expertise in Fleet Support Team (FST) Logistics, developing program sustainment and acquisition integrated logistics support, effectively managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system, and evaluating new approaches, guides and standards to make logistical decisions.
