We're looking for a strong, hands‑on Commercial Service Manager who wants to lead a team, deliver outstanding results, and build a profitable, high-performing service department.
What We Offer- Competitive Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience
- Performance Bonuses tied to department profitability and growth
- Full-time schedule:
Monday - Friday (40 hours/week) - Opportunity to lead and shape the commercial service operations
- A supportive environment with a company that values quality, integrity, and long-term success
- Lead the entire commercial service department, including dispatching, technician performance, and daily operations
- Drive revenue growth and achieve targeted gross profit through effective leadership and accountability
- Oversee staffing, training, and development of HVAC field technicians - including hiring, performance reviews, and coaching
- Manage service agreements, warranty claims, inventory, and van fleet operations
- Build and submit accurate repair quotes quickly
- Review daily tickets, reports, and technician productivity - providing constructive feedback to improve performance
- Handle customer relations and resolve any field or customer issues
- Collaborate with other managers to support warranty and installation needs
- Ensure the department runs efficiently, profitably, and continues to grow
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience in HVAC service management
- Strong track record of hitting revenue and profitability goals
- Ability to inspire, coach, and hold a team accountable while building pride in workmanship
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Experience managing inventory, service agreements, and fleet operations
- Basic computer skills (MS Office and service/dispatch software)
- Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
- Highly motivated self-starter who thrives on challenges and multi-tasking
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
